About Us
The Healing Arts Center is here because Dr. Brenda
had a vision of building a center where those who were
looking for alternative health care would have a trusted
place to go to get exceptional products and services.
Dr. Brenda, after graduating Chiropractic College of
Kansas City in 1998, opened her Chiropractic office in
July 1999 in the pharmacy area of the "old Gunn
Clinic". In 2004 The Healing Arts center was born
when Dr. Brenda, with the help and partnership of
Gloria Pritchett, did a total building renovation and in
October 2004, opened Peaceful Intentions ~ Health
Spa and Nature's friend ~ Health & Wellness Store.
With the dedication of our small but knowledgeable
team, The Healing Arts Center has become a unique
healing and relaxing destination for the residents of
Versailles and many surrounding areas.
Tammy Roney, our Licensed Massage Therapist,
specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Hot
Stone, Prenatal and Sciatic Massage. Tammy also
specializes in Raindrop Therapy and Reflexology.
And last but not least Alison Pensy. Alison joined our
team in August 2006. From Norwich, England, Alison
takes care of the accounting and administration and
generally keeps everything running smoothly, while
adding a "flare" to the Center!
